🌕 Hubal: The Forgotten Moon God

Long before Islam, long before the Quraysh tribe in Mecca, there was a god named Hubal—the moon god of ancient Arabia.

📖 According to Gods, Goddesses, and Mythology (Vol. 11, p. 137):

"Hubal was the chief god of the Ka‘ba; a martial and oracular deity; a moon god."

He was brought from Syria to Mecca and became the principal idol of the pagan Arabs. People would cast lots and shoot arrows to “divine” his will. And here’s the kicker...

⚠️ Hubal was just Baal with a different name.
Same demon. New label.

🔄 Meet the “Gods” Who Keep Rebranding

Throughout history, this same entity has popped up again and again—just under new aliases:

• Baal

• Beelzebub

• Zeus

• Jupiter

• Allah

• Hubal

Each culture gave him a fresh myth, a new costume, a localized accent. But the spirit behind it all? Still the same rebel.

Baal means “possessor.”
He’s known as the “Lord of the Air.”

That’s why Yahweh—the God of Israel—was constantly at war with Baal throughout the Old Testament.

📖 Galatians: What You Serve Is What Owns You

Paul dropped a spiritual nuke when he said:

Galatians 4:3
“When we were children, we were slaves to the elemental spirits of the universe.”

Wait… what?
Slaves to what?!
👉 Elemental spirits. Sun gods. Moon gods. Star spirits. Planetary demons.

And he doubles down:

Galatians 4:8–9
“Back then, you didn’t know God—you were slaves to those who aren’t gods at all. But now… you know God—and He knows you! So why go back to those weak, miserable spirits that once enslaved you?”

This isn’t poetry.
This is spiritual intelligence.
God is saying:

"I didn’t save you from Egypt so you could go back to Babylon."

🌞 So Why Would the Moon Strike You?

David writes something strange in Psalm 121:6:

“The sun will not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.”

…The moon? Strike me?
How can a rock in the sky do that?

Because as Psalm 19:1–4 explains:

“The heavens declare the glory of God… day after day they pour out speech… night after night they reveal knowledge.”

👀 The heavens speak.
They were created to declare God’s glory—but in a fallen world, they can also be hijacked to declare something else.

That’s why we need dominion.

God gave man dominion over the earth—including the heavens above it. That’s why:

✅ You can speak to the moon and cancel demonic cycles.
✅ You can declare over your city and region.
✅ You can command the sun, moon, and stars to align with the voice of God.
✅ You can break curses, dreams, and divinations spoken in the air.

This is not witchcraft.
This is warfare with understanding.
